From the Head Coach

A word from Coach Howell

Stacy Howell, Head Coach of the U-14 Bantam Bulldogs

“At the Bantam level, every rep matters. Our job is to build technique that holds up at full contact speed—footwork, hand placement, read progressions—because the athletes who get those fundamentals right now are the ones who step into Junior Varsity ready to compete. We hold this program to the same standard as any team in the OSFL: preparation, accountability, and respect for the game. If you commit to the process, the results follow.”

Building champions starts here

Seven coaches. One standard. The people who pour in the time, build the program, and show up every Saturday.

Head Coach

Stacy Howell

Building a culture where players hold each other accountable on every snap. Stacy's program emphasizes preparation, technique, and the kind of accountability that travels with players long after they hang up the cleats.

Draft — pending coach review

Co-Offensive Coordinator & Wide Receivers

Michael Nelson

Develops the receiver corps from route discipline to the catch point. Michael focuses on the small things that turn an open receiver into a sure first down — alignment, releases, and finishing each rep through the whistle.

Draft — pending coach review

Co-Offensive Coordinator

Krishawn Thompson

Designs the offensive game plan and runs the play install each week. Krishawn favors a balanced scheme that rewards execution over volume, building reads that grow with the players' confidence through the season.

Draft — pending coach review

Defensive Coordinator

Chevy McCalla

Runs the defensive scheme and breaks down film for the unit. Chevy's defenses are known for fit discipline and turnovers in the second half — what he calls “closing-time defense.”

Draft — pending coach review

Quarterbacks Coach

Jay Wills

Works one-on-one with the quarterbacks on footwork, reads, and decision-making. Jay's room is small by design — every QB gets the reps and the feedback to carry the offense on Saturday.

Draft — pending coach review

Running Backs Coach

Clayton Wilson

Coaches the running backs on vision, pad level, and ball security. Clayton's group reps protections and pass-game routes alongside their ground work — RBs in this program are expected to be three-down players.

Draft — pending coach review

Offensive & Defensive Line Coach

Liam Vella

Coaches both the offensive and defensive lines — the toughest dual assignment on the staff. Liam preaches violence in the trenches paired with technique that protects long careers, building linemen who can play either side.

Draft — pending coach review
